We are not the most expensive and we are not the cheapest in town. Too many computer stores sell cheap and no-name brand parts - or they are proprietary - we REFUSE to do this. We believe you get what you pay for. We pay more for our parts, therefore our prices our a little higher then many big retail stores - BUT all our products are backed up by a full 1 year warranty, not just 10 or 30 days!!! Try getting that from the big retail stores!!!
We use the same reliable local distributors that we have used for over 10 years now. We refuse to sell any product that a company won't support. There is so much of this going on in today's world, and we will not operate our business that way. Doing free warranty repair work because of bad parts is not an option!
We are very proud of our LOW rate of returns or problems with our equipment, and we will continue to sell only the best parts that are available on today's market. (which is ever changing).
Our bottom line is that we take pride in our work and our customer relations. We believe in being honest and upfront with all who walk through our doors. We understand the frustration and confusion in this industry, and we go the extra mile to do what we can at answering questions and help to lead our customers in the right direction without taking advantage of them. We, unlike some other places, would rather approach repairs with a surgical method rather than a sledge-hammer approach, meaning we would rather fix the problem instead of forcing the customer to start all over. In some cases, there's just no getting around it so bring us your PC when the problems start instead of waiting until it's not functioning anymore, the cost will usually be less and the outcome usually much better...
We operate our business different then most other computer repair shops and our customers love it. We get most of our customers by referrals and drive by's and we do little advertising and will continue to do what is best for all our customers in the years to come.
Sincerely, The Owner of Fix My Dead PC
Don Wells
